Natalia Ryazanova: "A three—month probation period is a luxury that not every business can afford"

Three years ago, within the framework of the work of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS countries, the expert council continued its activities, headed by Stepan Kalmykov, Vice President of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The Council is actively working on the issues of environmental education, as explained by Natalia Ryazanova, Associate Professor of the Department of International Complex Problems at Moscow State University of Environmental Management and Ecology at MGIMO University of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

The Council conducted a significant audit of environmental education in the CIS countries and identified a number of common problems. One of them is the lack of formation of required competencies. In practice, student training lags behind, and the most that is available are demonstrations of skills that are really needed in production and are key not only for reporting, but also for production processes.
